The department conducts periodic workshops and training sessions on specific techniques, research findings, and emerging trends in physiotherapy. Few informative and extensive organizations by our department are: 

  • Sri Ramachandra Alumni Association (physiotherapy chapter) organized a career guidance programme for the MPT students of all the specialties were invited
  • SPREE-2019: Have been a part of A three-day workshop (03.10.2019 – 05.10.2019) covering diverse physiotherapy topics:
  • Day 1: Musculoskeletal Physiotherapy and Women’s Health
  • Day 2: Cardiorespiratory Physiotherapy
  • Day 3: Neurological Physiotherapy
    Faculty and external experts delivered enriching sessions, ensuring the event’s success
  • Sri Ramachandra Alumni Association (physiotherapy chapter) organized a guest lecture program for the BPT first year 2021-22 batch students
  • Sri Ramachandra Faculty of Physiotherapy organized an Sri Ramachandra International Physiotherapy Colloquium  
  • Webinar on foot drop-FES on 28.06.2023, Resource person-Mr. S. G. Sivakumar
  • Webinar on “Know all about Stroke” on 29.10.2021, an live awareness program via Facebook and You tube

Workshops Conducted:

  • Workshop on Postural Control Assessment – Theory to Practice” was conducted
  • Workshop on Wheelchair Prescription and Skill Training for Physiotherapists as per WHO Norms” was conducted , Resource person-Dr. D. Vincent Jeyaraj
  • Post colloquium workshops “Proprioceptive Neuromuscular Facilitation in stroke” -Dr. Karthik Babu
  • One day workshop on cerebral palsy-Assessment methods and facilitatory methods was conducted , Resource person- Dr. Sailakshmi Ganesan
  • International wheelchair day- “Workshop on self-transfer techniques”
  • World stroke day was celebrated with a workshop on “Functional Rehabilitation Physiotherapy Perspective, Resource person-Dr. Ravi Ranganathan
