MOVEMENT MISSION II 

The Department of Women’s Health ,Sri Ramachandra Faculty of Physiotherapy successfully organized a week-long series of events in observance of World Continence Week 2026, aimed at creating awareness about continence care, promoting early screening, and fostering community engagement.The celebrations culminated in a grand Valedictory Ceremony held on 25th June 2026, which witnessed the enthusiastic participation of over 250 attendees, including faculty members,clinicians, students, alumni, patients, caregivers and invited guests. The valedictory function  also witnessed the grant event –Movement Mission-II ,A philanthropic activity  “MOVEMENT MISSION – GETTING THEM BACK ON THEIR FEET” .The ceremony was presided by Mrs. Samyuktha venkataachalam, Trustee SRIHER, Dr. Uma Sekar, Pro Vice-Chancellor, Dr. Sonali Santhanam, Founder Birth Basix, Chennai along with other officials of the University. Rooted in the vision of our revered Founder Chancellor, Deiva Thiru NPV Ramasamy Udayar Ayya, the Sri Ramachandra Faculty of Physiotherapy (SRFOPT) continues to uphold its core commitment to patient care and academic excellence. In alignment with our Honourable Chancellor Shri. V.R. Venkataachalam’s philosophy that societal service gives true meaning to life, Sri Ramachandra Faculty of Physiotherapy successfully executed Movement Mission I in 2023 , now again in 2026  , with generous sponsorship and commitment  of our esteemed alumni of the BPT 2001-02 batch Movement Mission II was initiated which benefited 11 children with special needs .We extend our sincere gratitude to our esteemed alumni of the BPT 2001-02 batch, whose generous sponsorship and commitment championed this noble endeavor. Together, we continue to fulfill our social responsibility and advance healthcare excellence.
